The blowout preventer is designed with hydraulic opening and closing of the gate, and can easily and quickly replace the gate.
The closing pressure provided by the control system is used to close the blowout preventer gate and can also be used to open the end cap. When used to open the end cap, the closing pressure of the control system causes the gate to close. After removing the end cap bolts, use the pressure of the control system to open the end cap. After the end cap is fully opened, the gate can be removed from the body. At the top of each gate, there are threads for installing suspension buckles, which can be installed to facilitate the lifting of the gate.
The opening pressure provided by the control system is used to open the preventer gate and can also be used to close the end cap. When used to close the end cap, the opening pressure of the control system causes the gate to open. After replacing the gate, use the opening pressure of the control system to close the end cap. Before the gate is moved into the blowout preventer, it is first pulled out close to the end cap. This ensures that the gate does not block the vertical through-hole of the blowout preventer, avoiding friction with the drill pipe inside the well. After the end cap is completely closed, install the end cap bolts firmly.
definition
Blowout preventer is used to close the wellhead during oil testing, well repair, completion and other operations to prevent blowout accidents. It combines the functions of full sealing and semi sealing, and has the characteristics of simple structure, easy operation, and high pressure resistance. It is a commonly used sealing wellhead device in oil fields to prevent blowout.
During oil drilling, it is installed on the wellhead casing head to control the blowout device of high-pressure oil, gas, and water. When the oil and gas pressure inside the well is high, the blowout preventer can seal off the wellhead. When heavy mud is pressed into the drill pipe, there is a four-way valve under the gate, which can replace the mud that has been invaded by gas, increase the pressure of the liquid column in the well, and suppress the high-pressure oil and gas injection.
type
Its types are divided into ordinary blowout preventers, universal blowout preventers, and rotary blowout preventers. Ordinary blowout preventers come in two types: fully sealed and semi sealed. Fully sealed blowout preventers can seal the entire wellhead; A semi sealed annular section of the wellhead in the presence of drill pipes. Universal blowout preventer can be activated in emergency situations to handle any size of drilling tools and empty wells; Rotating blowout preventers can achieve simultaneous spraying and drilling operations. In deep well drilling, in addition to two ordinary blowout preventers, universal blowout preventers and rotary blowout preventers are often added to install three or four combinations at the wellhead.

Annular Blowout Preventer
A large gate equipped with a gate type blowout preventer usually forms a sealed annular space between the pipe column and the wellbore during operation. Even with the pipe column in the wellbore, it can be sealed separately, but it cannot be used after a few uses and is not allowed to be shut in for a long time.
